NYC

The days are getting longer as summer gets closer but I feel as though the days are getting shorter....my move to NYC is swiftly approaching. WOW...I am excited, scared, curious, and every other emotion under the sun. All in all....I'm excited. Change is a good thing. This year I welcome change, growth, courage, happiness, and above all...love. In 2012 I am striving to always come a place of love instead of fear. Hope instead of discouragment. Belief instead of doubt. Life is what you make it, right?! So, here I go...on an adventure to the city that never sleeps.... I have no idea what to expect.... but I do know it will be a journey of self love. I have been busy in California planning, and saving and organizing for this move from west to east. My dog, Cash has no idea how his doggie life is about to change... he will be coming with me to Brooklyn. I have locked in a sublet in Williamsburg starting April 15th- June 1st. The apartment has a roof top deck and a room of my own to lay my head and hang my clothes. I'll be living with a 25 yr old female who is in a band and bartends for means to get by. I have spoken with her and had my friend who lives in the city meet her and check out my new temporary home. I have another friend who is potentially getting me a job at her club. I'll be doing bottle service again, a job I'm most familiar with and where the money is great in the city. My plan is to save, save, save and by the end of my sublet....get my own place! I am taking it all as it comes. So there it is.... I don't know how long I'll stay in NYC...but I know I'm going to give it a chance and see what unknown goodness lies ahead for me on the east coast. I am looking forward to being closer to my Florida family as well. When I get settled I'll send pics! :)
