Raindrops fall on my window like a dancer who's misplaced her steps, deliberately, maybe... elegant and dulcet....I lay in wonder. My mind is full, my heart is heavy....it is the opening to a great classic novel....but the next page is blank.
Inspiration is behind me...and I think too often of the past. I feel time slipping and I'm paralyzed...listening to the rain, sweet rain. Time stands still.
Though, in my heart of hearts, I know it does not.
I force my brain to challenge my heart as I often do. This leaves me confused everytime, yet I insist...just as the dancer on my window misplaces her steps over and over though she knows the tune.

gobble gobble and Dad's visit
Well...what a great week we had last week! My Dad came for a visit...he spent the day with me at the swapmeet, talking to everybody!

Jefferson and Machiko came up to Hollywood and we walked to dinner at our fav thai spot..Toi...yummy!

It's groovy inside, you sit on cushions on the floor and enjoy the best curry you've ever had...

Tony G. helped me build(he did all the work really)a display for my artwork.

Pops and I grabbed lunch and took in artwork galore at The Getty and he told me stories of before my time I never knew...I'll forever cherish the memories we made that day.

Dad and brother played golf...Chad and I got him hooked on the new HBO show, Boardwalk Empire...and I kicked his butt in cards!
Thanksgiving we ate, I baked my mom's homemade apple pie and my favorite greenbean casserole..Chad made his famous mashed potatoes...everyone was in the kitchen at one point while my brother spent most of his time on the couch...
This is him before dinner...

We ate outside under the beautiful sky...

Annnd, here's sweet Jefferson after we ate...

And there ya have it...sweet moments with people I love...I am thankful to say the least.
