The Nolan's say good-bye, Cousin Mike and Europe or bust!

This weekend was a special one...my cousin Mike came for a visit...there was Toi thai with Jefferson, Lisa and Chad sans chairs! and a Jonas Brothers concert(Oh boy... we accidentally ended up in the midst of that madness) Vintage shop stop, a night on the town in Hollywood(well I worked and Mike and Chad sauntered around taking in the HOllywood scene)...and my favorite....the swapmeet!!! Chad and I really had fun!!!! Oh and Cash and Powder too..they LOVE house guests!! :) Sunday was Robert and Michelle's going away party. Michelle has been such an important facet to my time here in California..roommate for nearly 4 years..took me under her wing and was a true friend...and has become family in my heart...as well as her husband Robert...I have adopted them as another brother and sister. They will be missed immensely..and now I'll have to add Maryland to my list of places to visit. But first.....EUROPE!!!! Chad and I leave Wednesday for Germany to spend a week there for Chad to work the Supernatural Convention and me to explore and share in his convention experience!!! oohh yayyy!!! After that I fly solo to Italy...Lake Como to visit family(most of whom I have never met!) and explore there too!!! I have always wanted to visit Italy and get a feel for my roots...this was the perfect opportunity to do so...and I'll be blogging pictures from my journey and updates as well! Now I must go pack...

Last year picture of me and the babe at the Hollywood Cemetary for outdoor movie night....what a special time...can't wait to make more memories there this summer...my favorite time of year is summer time. Maybe this is because I was born on the second day of summer...or the smell of summer rain back home, when it's hot outside and rain falls in random spurts across the asphalt and grass alilke stirring up the Florida air. Or juicy watermelon and poolside bbqs...and CAMPING TRIPS!!!! No school...all fun...exploration...sea shells...good friends and sunshine....sexy tans, melon hues and salty beach blown hair.

I truly feel blessed to have the mom I do. Thank-you to all the moms who give love and do that thing they do...create sunshine wherever they go in the hearts of their kids. Nuture. Give. Love. That's a mom. The world truly would not exist in the beauty it is without moms. All my love goes out to the mommas!!!!
